The plain-English terms
Last updated 2026-09-19. If anything here is unclear, email [email protected] and a person will answer.
What you're buying
A monthly subscription. Each month you get the number of episodes in your plan turned into Shorts, teasers, thumbnails, titles, descriptions, chapters and (on some plans) posting, a newsletter write-up and a website article. Plans, limits and prices are on the home page. Month to month. Cancel any time from the link in any of our emails or by replying "cancel".
Loyalty pricing
Month 1 is the listed price. Each month you stay subscribed the price drops in equal steps, until month 7, where it stays at 15% off on every plan. If you cancel and later subscribe again, you start again at month 1's price. Pausing your plan does not reset it. The exact amounts are shown on the Billing tab of your account before every charge.
Cancelling and refunds
Month to month. To cancel, reply "cancel" to any of our emails; it's done within a day and you won't be charged again. Payments already made are not refunded. If a delivery is wrong, reply and we fix it.
Your content is yours
You own your episodes and everything we make from them. We keep a copy only to do the work and to let you re-download it. We don't use your content to promote ourselves without asking, and we never post anything to your channels unless you're on a plan that includes posting and you connected the channel yourself.
What we need from you
A link to your public YouTube channel, or a file link per episode. You confirm you have the rights to the recordings you give us. If an episode contains something we can't safely cut (for example anything sexual involving minors, or accusations against a private person), we hold it and tell you why.
Privacy
We store your name, email, plan, channel link, and the work we produce for you. Payments are handled by Stripe; we never see your card number. Emails go through Google Workspace. Pages are hosted on Cloudflare; videos are stored on Cloudflare Stream. Requests you make from your page (Post now, Change this) are stored in a database so we can act on them. We don't sell or share your data. Email [email protected] to see or delete what we hold on you.
Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to use Ship Your Pod. The site and the account pages are built to WCAG 2.1 AA: keyboard operable, labelled controls, visible focus, captions and a transcript on the demo video, colour contrast above 4.5:1, and no motion that can't be turned off. If anything gets in your way, email [email protected] with the page and what happened, and a person fixes it or gets you what you need another way within two business days.
The boring but necessary
Ship Your Pod is operated by an Ohio, USA limited liability company. We do our best but can't promise views, revenue or growth. Our liability is limited to what you paid us in the last month. These terms can change; we'll email you if they do in any way that matters.
