What the words mean
- Short: a vertical (9:16) clip under 3 minutes, the format YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram Reels and Facebook Reels use.
- YouTube cut: a widescreen (16:9) video, 8 to 15 minutes, captioned. Long enough for YouTube mid-roll ads. Available as an add-on from your delivery page.
- Teaser: a 20 to 45 second clip that cuts off right before the payoff and ends with "the rest is in the full episode."
- Score and reason: every clip gets a 0 to 100 score and one plain sentence on why it was picked and what's weak about it, so you know what to post first.
- Change this: a button under every clip. Pick what's wrong (different moment, better hook, shorter, longer, start earlier), and we redo it and email you.
- Loyalty price: month 1 is the listed price. Each month you stay it drops a step, until month 7, where it stays at 15% off, on every plan. Cancel and return later and you start at month 1 again. Pausing does not reset it.
- Clip length: you choose. Short (15 to 30 seconds), standard (28 to 60), long (60 to 120) or max (2 to just under 3 minutes). Change it any time from your page.
- Episode: any long-form video you post, any length. A 20 minute episode and a 3 hour episode count the same.
- Your page: a private link, no login. Add it to your phone's home screen and every new episode shows up there.
Month to month. Cancel any time. Your next charge is always on your Billing tab. If a delivery is wrong, reply to any of our emails and we fix it; if it is late, that episode's share goes back on your card without you asking.

What is a podcast clipping service?
A podcast clipping service takes a long episode and cuts it into short vertical videos with captions for YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram Reels and Facebook. Ship Your Pod builds teasers and writes a title and post text for every Short. YouTube long-form with episode title, description and chapters is a $39 add-on. Three thumbnails cost $9; an article and newsletter cost $19 per episode.
Is there a free trial?
Yes, on Pro: 14 days free, for one episode, with everything Pro includes and no watermark. Your card is taken at checkout and nothing is charged during the 14 days. We email you 3 days before the first charge. Cancel on your Billing tab before then and you pay nothing, or pick Starter for after the trial. Want more than one episode in the 14 days? Tap “Start my plan now” and Pro starts that day. One trial per person.
How fast is the turnaround?
Within a day of sending the episode. On Pro it is the same day.
How many Shorts do I get a month?
Up to 180 a month on Pro and up to 32 on Starter: 15 or 8 from every episode, across 12 or 4 episodes a month. Each one has a score and a one-line reason so you know what to post first. Every month you also get up to 36 teasers on Pro or 8 on Starter. Every Short has its own title and post text. Episode extras are separate add-ons.
What if my episodes are over an hour?
Your plan's Shorts come from the whole episode, however long it is: we search long episodes section by section, so the best moments from hour three compete with hour one. If you want more from a long episode, the long-form package adds, for each hour past the first, up to 15 more Shorts and a teaser, plus a YouTube cut only with the YouTube long-form add-on, at $39 an hour. An hour is only used up if all 15 of its Shorts are good enough to ship.
What do I send you?
One episode, any length. Upload the file in your account (up to 10 GB and 4 hours) or paste a link from YouTube, Twitch, Kick, Vimeo, Rumble, Drive or Dropbox.
Can I cancel?
Yes, and you do it yourself. Cancel in your account in a couple of taps, no need to ask us and no waiting on a person. You keep everything you have already paid for until the end of the month you are in, and you can undo it any time before then. If you would rather just tell us, replying "cancel" to any of our emails still works. Your Billing tab always lists the next charge and its date, and a yearly plan gets an email 14 days before it renews. There are no credits, no minute limits and no watermark on anything we send.
