Interview And Conversation podcasts
Podcast Clips for Interview and Conversation Shows
A good interview has its best moment buried somewhere between minute twelve and minute forty, and most listeners will never sit through the whole thing to find it. Clips let a single sharp exchange stand on its own and pull people back to the full conversation.

The moments that travel
Hooks in your show's voice
The on-screen line for the first seconds of a Short. Examples of the shape:
- He asked her the one question nobody else does.
- This answer stopped the room for a second.
- She changed her mind halfway through this.
- The moment the interview actually got honest.
What we leave out
Don't clip a story or answer that only makes sense with the setup that came before it, since it'll confuse people instead of pulling them in. Also be careful with guests speaking about ongoing situations, legal matters, or other people by name, since a clip taken out of its original context can land very differently than intended. Every clip we cut goes through a safety check, and anything we're unsure about is held for a person.

Weighing it up? Done-for-you vs DIY clipping tools vs hiring an editor.
Questions
What if my guest goes on a long tangent before the good part?
That's normal in conversation formats. We find where the actual moment starts and cut in there, no need to edit your recording beforehand.
Can you clip moments where the guest is still developing their thought?
Yes, unfinished or searching answers often work well as clips since they feel unscripted and real.
Do you need transcripts or show notes to find the good moments?
No, we work directly from your episode audio and video and pull the moments ourselves.
