What we leave out

Leave out prayer requests, baptism testimonies and anything said from the floor by a member who did not know they would be online, and keep the passage reference in the cut so a point is never separated from its text. A strong line on sin, politics or money pulled from a sermon can sound like a different sermon entirely, so the sentence before it usually stays. Questions

Our sermon video is one wide shot from the balcony. Can clips still work?

Yes, the crop tightens on the preacher and the captions carry the words, though a second camera closer to the pulpit always helps.

Will the Scripture references appear on screen with the clip?

Captions are the words actually said, so when the pastor reads the reference aloud it appears on screen. Add book names and your translation's wording to Settings > Spelling so they come through spelled right.

We have a youth pastor and a senior pastor on different weeks. Can clips be labelled by speaker?

There are no speaker labels, but add both pastors' names and the series title to Settings > Spelling so they are spelled right in captions and titles whenever they are said. Since you post everything yourself, you can add the speaker's name in the post text.
