Fantasy Football podcasts

Your waiver wire take is right on Tuesday and dead by Thursday.

Fantasy content has a shelf life measured in days. Your start/sit calls, your waiver targets and your trade deadline rants only matter before kickoff, and your listeners are scrolling their phones in that exact window. Clips put your Tuesday opinion in front of a manager setting their lineup on Saturday night.

What gets in the way

Send the episode; the clips come back cut, captioned and ranked. That is the whole job on your side.

The moments that travel

The bold start/sit callA single confident name over the consensus is what managers screenshot and argue about in the group chat.
The waiver pickup nobody ownsNaming a player available in most leagues gives a viewer something to do the second the clip ends.
The co-host disagreementTwo people arguing about a running back is more watchable than one person being right.
The eating of crowOwning last week's bad call on camera builds the trust that makes next week's call worth hearing.
The trade value gut checkA quick yes or no on a lopsided trade offer answers the question every manager has an open tab for.

What we leave out

Do not clip injury speculation that sounds like a report, and keep anything about betting lines clearly framed as talk, not advice. Avoid cutting a start/sit call so tight that the matchup, the week and the reasoning disappear, because a bare name with no context ages badly and gets quoted back at you. Every clip comes with a safety check and its reasons, and nothing goes out until you post it.

Questions

Our show is recorded Tuesday and the take changes by Sunday. Is a clip still worth posting?

Yes, as long as it goes up in the window it was made for. Waiver and start/sit clips are built to go out early in the week, while recap and rant clips can hold for later.

We rattle through dozens of player names. How do you pick which ones become clips?

The moments picked are the ones with a clear opinion and a reason behind it, not the lightning round, and each clip comes ranked with a plain reason so you can see why it made the cut. If a player you care about was missed, ask for a different cut with "Change this", and add names to Settings > Spelling so they are captioned right.

Can the titles and thumbnails use player names and team names?

Yes, and they should, because a manager searching for a specific player is your most likely new listener. Nothing uses league logos or broadcast footage, so you stay clear of those.
