Nutrition podcasts

You spend an hour saying 'it depends'. The feed wants the one line.

Food advice online rewards whoever is most certain, and you are competing with people who have built an audience on one villain ingredient. A clip of you calmly reading a label or taking apart a claim is the counterweight, and it only works if it reaches the same feeds. Your episodes already contain the careful version. Clips are how the careful version gets a chance.

What gets in the way

Send the episode; the clips come back cut, captioned and ranked. That is the whole job on your side.

The moments that travel

Reading the label out loudWalking through a real package nobody checks turns an abstract point into something people can do at the store.
The debunkThe claim your clients keep repeating, taken apart calmly, gets shared by people who have had the same argument.
The small swapA change someone can make at their next meal is the kind of clip that gets saved rather than just liked.
Why it dependsThe honest answer to a question that has no single answer is rare enough online to be worth clipping on its own.
Guest disagrees with youA dietitian and a coach landing in different places on the same question shows the thinking, not just the conclusion.

What we leave out

Do not clip advice about a medical condition without the part where you tell people to check with their clinician, and skip anything involving disordered eating unless the full context travels with it. Avoid absolutes like 'never eat' when the episode said 'it depends', because a clip that drops the nuance becomes the kind of content you built the show to counter. Every clip comes with a safety check and its reasons, and nothing goes out until you post it.

Questions

I am a registered dietitian. Will the clips keep my scope of practice clear?

Titles and captions describe general information from your episode, and you read each clip before posting, so anything that could sound like a prescription for one person can be dropped or cut differently with "Change this". Keeping scope clear on air helps most, since captions are the words actually said.

I talk about supplements. Can clips cover that?

They can, as long as the claims in the clip are the claims you made in the episode and nothing stronger. You approve each one before it posts.

What if a guest says something I disagree with?

The disagreement itself often makes a good clip, as long as your response is in it. A guest claim without your reply does not get cut on its own.
