Basketball podcasts

Game night buries your show. The debate you filmed should be out there by tip-off.

Basketball fans consume the league as a running argument, and most of that argument now happens in short clips: a bold ranking, a film breakdown of one possession, a reaction to a trade that landed an hour ago. If your episodes are on camera, you are already producing the raw material of that conversation. The gap is that by the time you cut it yourself, the news cycle has moved to the next game.

What gets in the way

Send the episode; the clips come back cut, captioned and ranked. That is the whole job on your side.

The moments that travel

The ranking that starts fightsPutting one player above another in a top ten list reliably pulls both fan bases into the comments.
One possession, explainedWalking through a single play with a telestrator or your hands is the kind of teaching clip fans save.
The instant trade reactionYour honest first thirty seconds on a trade is more watchable than the polished take you give a day later.
The prediction on the recordA confident call about a series or an award gives you a clip to revisit, right or wrong.
The old head versus the kidAny argument across eras travels because every viewer has a side already picked.

What we leave out

Rumors and injury speculation become statements of fact when they are cut down to thirty seconds, so keep the words like reportedly and if in the clip or skip the moment. Be mindful of league broadcast footage: clips built on your faces, your voices and your own drawings on a whiteboard travel just as well and carry none of the takedown risk. Every clip comes with a safety check and its reasons, and nothing goes out until you post it.

Questions

We record right after games, late at night. How fast can clips come back?

Upload the file when you finish and clips come back within a day on Starter or the same day on Pro, with a rush add-on for when the result is still the conversation. There is no schedule to agree, so the sooner the file is up, the sooner the page hits your phone.

We have three hosts on one wide shot. Can the clips follow whoever is talking?

Yes. Vertical clips follow whoever is talking and go split screen when two of you talk at once, with word by word captions of what is said. Captions do not carry speaker names, so a heated exchange reads best when you let each other finish.

Our show is team specific, not league wide. Is there enough to clip?

Team shows often clip better, because the audience shares every reference and a clip about one rotation decision or one contract lands harder with people who care that much.
