Celebrity Gossip podcasts

The story broke Tuesday. Your episode went up Friday. The clip? Never.

Gossip has a shelf life measured in hours. If your take on the breakup, the leaked DM or the awkward red carpet moment is still sitting inside a ninety minute episode, the conversation has moved on by the time anyone finds it. Short clips get your reaction in front of people while the story is still the story.

What gets in the way

Send the episode; the clips come back cut, captioned and ranked. That is the whole job on your side.

The moments that travel

The receipts walk-throughPulling up the screenshot and reading it line by line is a scene people want to see, not just hear.
The out-loud gaspYour real reaction when your co-host drops something you had not heard is the moment viewers rewind.
The timeline recapA fast run through who said what and when gives newcomers a reason to stop scrolling and catch up.
The unpopular defenceTaking the side nobody is taking gets people arguing in the comments, and arguing keeps a clip alive.
The predictionCalling what happens next on record gives you something to point back to when it does.

What we leave out

Do not clip a claim you cannot stand behind on its own, because a clip travels without the hedging you put around it in the full episode. Keep children of celebrities, private partners and anyone who is not a public figure out of the short form entirely, and be careful with anything you only read on an anonymous account. Every clip comes with a safety check and its reasons, and nothing goes out until you post it.

8 to 15 Shorts, plus teasers, thumbnails from real frames, and a title and description, on a private page on your phone, within a day. Each Short is scored, with a plain reason why it should work. You post them wherever you like, full quality, no watermark.

Questions

The gossip I cover is stale within a day. Is clipping even worth it?

Yes, but speed matters, so send the episode as soon as you have the file and treat the clips as the fast version of the show. Reaction and opinion moments also age better than pure news reads.

Will the clips make me look like I'm stating rumours as fact?

The clip is your words, so the safest habit is to say 'reportedly' or name the source on camera when you discuss something unconfirmed. That line then lands in the clip too.

Can I use paparazzi photos or red carpet footage in the clips?

Only if you have the right to use them. Your face, your reaction and the on-screen text carry a gossip clip fine without borrowed images.
