Medicine And Doctors podcasts
You have a clinic, a call schedule and an episode sitting unclipped since March.
Physicians and trainees find new shows in the gaps of a day that has no real gaps, which means short vertical video is where your episode either gets noticed or gets missed. A clip of a colleague explaining a clinical reasoning step, or admitting what they got wrong on a case, is what gets forwarded in a residency group chat. Without clips your show only reaches the people who already subscribed.

What gets in the way
- Between clinic and call there is no afternoon for trimming video.
- Clipping a clinical discussion without stripping the caveats is risky and slow.
- You are not sure which patient stories are safe to post, so nothing goes up.
Send the episode; the clips come back cut, captioned and ranked. That is the whole job on your side.
The moments that travel
Hooks in your show's voice
The on-screen line for the first seconds of a Short. Examples of the shape:
- The question I ask before ordering any imaging
- What this surgeon wishes internists understood
- The case I still think about ten years later
- Why I left academic medicine and do not regret it
What we leave out
Never let a clip include any combination of details that could identify a patient, even in a story the guest considered anonymised, and skip anything a hospital or practice would consider confidential. Do not cut clinical advice into a standalone clip without the caveats, the population it applies to and the guest's reminder that it is not individual medical advice. Every clip comes with a safety check and its reasons, and nothing goes out until you post it.

Questions
My guests are physicians and some are cautious about being clipped out of context. How is that handled?
Clips are cut to keep the question and the full answer together, and every one lands on your private page where you can read it, change it or drop it before anything is posted. If a physician wants a topic kept out of circulation entirely, leave that section out of the file you upload.
Will drug names, conditions and procedures be captioned accurately?
Add drug names, conditions and procedures to Settings > Spelling and they are spelled that way in captions, hooks and titles from your next episode on. Captions are the words actually said, and a wrong term in a delivered clip can be fixed with "Change this".
Should the thumbnails look clinical or casual?
That is your call. Many physician hosts prefer a clear frame of the guest with a plain question on it, since the audience is suspicious of anything that looks like a health influencer.
