Hunting, Fishing And The Outdoors podcasts

You spent the season in the field. The episode went up once and sank.

Outdoors audiences are seasonal, and they are looking for exactly your kind of story right before opening day and right after the weekend. A clip of a guide explaining how he reads a creek, or of you admitting what went wrong on a stalk, gets passed around camps and group chats in a way a full episode never will. Clips also keep the show in front of people during the months when nothing is open.

What gets in the way

Send the episode; the clips come back cut, captioned and ranked. That is the whole job on your side.

The moments that travel

The one that got awayEveryone in your audience has a version of this story and will stop to compare.
Gear that quit in the fieldA boot, reel or optic that failed when it mattered is a warning people pass along.
The old way versus newA guide or an older hunter explaining how it used to be done pulls in both generations.
The misread signWhere you went wrong reading water, wind or tracks teaches more than the success did.
The regulation nobody readsA plain explanation of a rule most people get wrong gets shared right before the season opens.

What we leave out

Do not clip anything that could look like a violation out of context: an animal with no tag visible, a shot that looks like it was taken outside legal hours, or a firearm held carelessly for even a frame. Keep exact locations, landmarks and GPS screens out of the clips, and leave the graphic parts of field dressing for the full episode where the viewer chose to be there. Every clip comes with a safety check and its reasons, and nothing goes out until you post it.

8 to 15 Shorts, plus teasers, thumbnails from real frames, and a title and description, on a private page on your phone, within a day. Each Short is scored, with a plain reason why it should work. You post them wherever you like, full quality, no watermark.

Questions

Our episodes are mostly campfire talk with very little action footage. Does that work?

Yes. The stories and the hard-won advice are the clips in this niche, and a fire or a truck bed is plenty of visual.

Can you keep my spots secret?

Spots are not edited out, so keep lake names, signs and landmarks off camera and off the mic while recording, since captions are the words actually said. You see every clip before posting, so drop any that give a spot away or ask for a different cut with "Change this".

Will you cut around the kill shot and the cleaning footage?

No footage is skipped by default, so read the ranked clips on your page and drop or recut any with the kill shot or cleaning that you do not want as a Short. If you want a shot included, ask with "Change this" for a cut that keeps the context of a legal, ethical take clear.
