Movie And Tv Review podcasts

You saw it opening night. Your review drops when the discourse is over.

Film and TV talk runs on a clock set by release dates and finale nights. A long review episode is for the people who already trust you; a thirty second clip of your verdict is how someone who just left the cinema finds you. The weekly recap show especially lives or dies on being part of the conversation the morning after.

What gets in the way

Send the episode; the clips come back cut, captioned and ranked. That is the whole job on your side.

The moments that travel

The verdict in one lineThe single sentence where you decide if the film works is the one people quote back at you.
The scene breakdownWalking through why one scene lands, shot by shot, shows the kind of critic you are.
The co-host splitWhen one of you loved it and one of you did not, the disagreement is the clip.
The ranking argumentPlacing the new entry against the rest of the franchise gets everyone with an opinion to weigh in.
The casting callYour reaction to who got the part, or who should have, travels well before the trailer even drops.

What we leave out

Spoilers travel faster than context, so a clip that reveals the twist can reach someone who has not seen the film with no warning attached. Keep plot reveals out of the first week of clips for a new release, and remember that using long stretches of the film or show itself can get the clip pulled regardless of how fair your commentary is. Every clip comes with a safety check and its reasons, and nothing goes out until you post it.

8 to 15 Shorts, plus teasers, thumbnails from real frames, and a title and description, on a private page on your phone, within a day. Each Short is scored, with a plain reason why it should work. You post them wherever you like, full quality, no watermark.

Questions

Can I clip a spoiler episode at all?

Yes. The best clips from a spoiler review are usually your reactions and the argument about whether it worked, which can be cut so the twist itself stays in the full episode.

Can the clips include footage or stills from the film?

Short, clearly commented-on stills are safer than moving footage, and your own camera carries the clip either way. If you want imagery, use official posters and trailers you are permitted to use.

My show is a weekly recap. Does the clip need to go out the same night?

The sooner the better, since recap clips are strongest while the episode is still trending. Send the file right after recording so the clips are ready for the morning after.
