Marriage podcasts

You argued on mic for an hour. One minute of it is the clip.

Couples do not go looking for a marriage podcast until something is wrong, and by then they are scrolling, not subscribing. A clip of a husband admitting the thing he got wrong, or a counsellor naming the pattern, is what one spouse sends to the other. The episode does the work; the clip starts the conversation.

What gets in the way

Send the episode; the clips come back cut, captioned and ranked. That is the whole job on your side.

The moments that travel

The confessionOne of you owns a habit the other has complained about for years.
The pattern, namedA counsellor or guest describes a cycle that the viewer is in right now.
The small repairA specific phrase or gesture that ended a fight in the real world.
Money, sex or in-lawsThe three topics every couple avoids, handled without flinching.
The disagreement left inYou two do not agree on camera and the clip does not resolve it.

What we leave out

Do not clip one spouse's complaint about the other without the reply, because a one-sided minute looks like a public shaming even when the full episode was warm. Leave out stories about affairs, finances or a guest's ex that could identify a third person who never agreed to be on your show. Every clip comes with a safety check and its reasons, and nothing goes out until you post it.

Questions

We host as a couple. Will the clips favour whichever of us is louder?

Framing follows whoever is talking and splits the screen when you both are, so volume does not decide who is on camera. If a clip leans one way, use Change this to cut it differently.

Some of our best moments are long arguments. Can those really fit in a short?

Usually the turn in the argument fits, the point where one of you softens or lands the real issue, and the teaser can point back to the full episode for the rest.

We have guests going through separation. How do you handle that?

We keep names and identifying details out of the captions and on-screen text, and you approve every clip before it goes anywhere.
